Anonymous: I am going to be moving to L.A is there any advice you could give? Im hoping to get a apartment in the mid-wilshire area.

I usually tell this to people who are not from LA, that you should lower expectations now. Not that LA isn’t a great city, but it’s a huge urban sprawl, which gives it more of a unique feel than most other cities. There is a misconception about LA because of what people see on TV and in the movies, and I’m not sure what people are expecting when they come to stay or visit. My advice would be to have an open mind and try to enjoy the experience. Also, because everything is so far away from each other you will be driving everywhere, might as well get used to that now. Although the Wilshire area is pretty central, and you won’t have to drive too far. Hope that helps!
